in which the variables have the following meanings:
R 1 is hydrogen, COOR 4 , COR 4 , CONR 4 R 5 , CN, C 1 -C 20 -alkyl, C 2 -C 10 -alkenyl, C 3 -C 10 -cycloalkyl, C 3 -C 10 -cycloalkenyl, aryl or heteroaryl, substituted or unsubstituted;
R 1 and R 2 together are C 7 -C 10 -bicycloalkyl or C 7 -C 10 -bicycloalkenyl;
R 3 is hydrogen, C 1 -C 20 -alkyl, C 2 -C 10 -alkenyl, C 3 -C 10 -cycloalkyl, C 3 -C 10 -cycloalkenyl, C 1 -C 12 -alkoxy, C 1 -C 20 -alkoxycarbonyl, C 1 -C 12 -alkylamino, C 1 -C 12 -dialkylamino, aryl or heteroaryl, substituted or unsubstituted, substituents which confer solubility in water, selected from the group consisting of carboxylate, sulfonate or ammonium radicals;
R 4 and R 5 independently of one another are hydrogen, C 1 -C 20 -alkyl, C 2 -C 10 -alkenyl, C 3 -C 10 -cycloalkyl, C 3 -C 10 -cycloalkenyl; aryl or heteroaryl, substituted or unsubstituted;
are used as stabilizers for organic materials.
